We are releasing the first Office 365 Deferred Channel build, which is effectively the September 22, 2015 release of Office 2016 with four additional months of security updates included.

One choice is a monthly update to Office 365 Pro Plus, which can contain new or updated features, security updates, and non-security updates, such as updates that provide stability or performance improvements for Office. If your organization doesn’t want to deploy the latest features of Office right away or you have a significant number of line-of-business applications, add-ins, or macros that you need to test with Office, than Deferred Channel might be the better choice for your organization.

That’s because Deferred Channel is made available only a few times a year, instead of every month.

This means you can now pin your workbook’s rich formatted charts and graphs directly to your Power BI dashboards and interact with them from anywhere—giving you even more options for telling your story through data.
